Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Pro-Wash 24/7 — written to be read, not skipped.

Last updated 26 August 2026

Welcome to Pro-Wash 24/7 Laundry Mart Ltd. By using our machines, our services, our website or our app, you agree to these terms.

1. About Pro-Wash 24/7

Pro-Wash 24/7 Laundry Mart Ltd provides self-service and full-service laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, steaming and dry cleaning. We operate from 45 Central High Street, Adjiringanor, Accra, and through our website and app.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By starting a machine, leaving laundry with us, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

You must be 18 or older to hold an account, to book a collection, or to receive laundry at the door.

3. Services

  • Self-service washing and drying — you operate the machines yourself, choosing the cycle and paying through the app.
  • Wash and fold — we wash, dry and fold. Priced by weight, measured on our scales at the counter.
  • Wash, dry and iron — as above, with ironing.
  • Ironing and steaming — charged per garment.
  • Collection and delivery — we collect from and return to an address you give us, for a fee based on distance. Section 8 sets out how.
  • Commercial and bulk — for hotels, short-let apartments, gyms and businesses, by arrangement.

4. Pricing

Prices are shown on our website, in the app and at the counter. Prices may change, and the price that applies is the one displayed at the moment you pay.

5. Payment

Payment is made in full before a service is provided, unless we have agreed otherwise. We accept mobile money (MTN MoMo, AirtelTigo, Telecel), Visa and Mastercard, cash at the counter, and payment from your Pro-Wash wallet.

Card and mobile money payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card details.

A self-service machine starts only once payment is confirmed.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information when you place an order.
  • Check your pockets before washing. We cannot recover money, keys, phones or jewellery left in clothing, and such items can damage both your laundry and our machines.
  • Check your laundry when you collect it.
  • Collect promptly after we tell you it is ready.
  • Do not use our services for anything illegal.

Some fabrics are not suitable for commercial machines. If a garment carries a care label saying hand wash only, dry clean only, or do not tumble dry, please follow it — for self-service you choose the cycle, and for drop-off please tell our staff at the counter.

7. Turnaround

  • Standard: 3 days
  • Express: 12 hours, with a 20 per cent surcharge

8. Collection and delivery

Where we offer it, we collect laundry from an address you give us and return it when it is ready. Collection and delivery are two separate journeys, each charged and treated on its own.

Booking

You ask for a time that suits you and we confirm it, or propose another. A booking is not fixed until we have confirmed it, and we will text you the agreed window.

What it costs

A call-out charge plus a rate for each kilometre beyond a free radius, measured from the branch to the address you pin. The exact fee is shown before you book and does not change afterwards. Addresses beyond the distance we cover are declined at booking rather than accepted and abandoned.

Being there

Someone aged 18 or over must be at the address during the agreed window. We do not leave laundry with neighbours, at gates, or with anyone who cannot confirm the order, because we have no way to know it reached you.

If nobody is there, our driver will call the number on the order. If we still cannot complete the journey we will contact you to rearrange, and a second journey is charged again.

While we have your laundry

Your laundry is in our care from the moment our driver takes it until it is handed back, under the limits in section 10.

Tracking

While a driver is on the way to you, we may show you their live position on a map so you know when to expect them. This works only while that journey is active.

Access and safety. Our drivers will not enter a property to collect laundry and will not wait beyond the agreed window. If an address is unsafe to reach, or a driver is treated abusively, we may decline to serve it in future.

9. Storage and uncollected laundry

Our storage space is limited, so please collect promptly once we tell you your laundry is ready.

  • Laundry is stored free for 7 days after it is ready.
  • After that, a storage fee of GH¢ 5 per day applies.
  • Items uncollected after 30 days are treated as abandoned. We will try to reach you on the number registered with the order before that point. Abandoned items are donated to charity, and any storage fees owed remain payable.

These figures are the ones currently in force and are shown in the app and at the counter before you leave laundry with us. We may change them; the rate that applies is the one published when your order is taken.

10. If something goes wrong

If we damage or lose an item that was in our care, tell us within 48 hours of collection or delivery and we will put it right. Our liability for any item is limited to ten times what you paid to have that item cleaned, or the item’s replacement value, whichever is lower.

If a machine takes your payment and does not start, we refund it in full — see our Refund Policy.

What we cannot be responsible for. Damage to weak or inferior fabric, or to garments with pre-existing defects. Colour running between items washed together. Shrinkage. Damage to garments washed against their care label. Items left in pockets. Loss of items that were not properly tagged or identified when left with us. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as a power or water failure.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Using our premises

Our site is open 24 hours and is monitored. Please treat the machines and the space with care. Children must be supervised — the machines are industrial and the floor can be wet.

12. The app

We work to keep the app available at all times but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, network problems and power interruptions happen. If the app is unavailable, staff at the counter can start machines and take payment.

Do not interfere with the app, the machines or their controls, and do not use another person’s account.

13. Refusing service

We may refuse service or close an account where these terms are broken, where equipment is damaged, or where staff or other customers are treated abusively.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Anything that materially affects you will be made clear in the app.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would much rather resolve problems by talking to you first — please contact us before anything else.
